https://maps.app.goo.gl/oAWmXpvNqkEdBdbg6This is a very large grocery store/Target style store. It’s got everything from groceries to appliances and daily consumables. The closest one is on Chongqing Rd.

Mia C’bon (Jason’s Market)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/TCfnaPDcVpaRZsSTAA smaller grocery store that basically covers the bases, but might not have a wide variety of options for each product type. This is located inside the Q Square Mall which is directly accessible through the subway Underground Mall. A good option for when weather isn’t good or when you don’t want to go all the way to Carrefour.

Zhongshan Market
中山市場
https://maps.app.goo.gl/czpE73FjHb24hpF3AA traditional wet market that is right next to Matsu in Midtown. This is where the family shopped for generations before modern grocery stores existed. Today, this might be more of an attraction than a source for food for visitors.

A lot of products that you would normally find in US grocery stores, such as contact solution and baby formula, are only available at pharmacies or other speciality stores. As an alternative, some of these products can also be ordered via UberEats.
—
Sun Pharmacy
興康源藥局This is really nearby, but it’s pretty small so they might not have everything that you need.
—
Watson’s
WatsonsA bigger chain pharmacy/personal goods store that originally came from Hong Kong. This is likely more comprehensive than Sun Pharmacy or the other independents.

Some kids products cannot be found at normal grocery stores like in the US. Of note, formula cannot be found at grocery stores. Fortunately, there are specialty stores that carry them. Additionally, online retailers can typically get you what you need in hours or days.

Kodomo
卡多摩嬰童館 台北重慶北店
https://maps.app.goo.gl/vswsg3nateXQ9Hf37If you’re having trouble finding something for a young child, this is the place to go. It’s a bit further, so I would either look in local department stores and pharmacies first.
